From the analysis that examined over 14,000 companies selling online in Italy in 17 different product sectors, the leading e-commerce companies in our country emerged, according to 5 different categories:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"padding: 0; margin-left: 0; list-style: none; list-style-position: inside;\">\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.ecommerceitalia.info\/wp-content\/themes\/ec_theme\/assets\/img\/awards\/Award_TOP10_2025.png\" alt=\"Top 10 Ecommerce 2025\" style=\"width: 64px; vertical-align: middle; margin-right: 10px;\"><a href=\"#top10\"><strong>Top 10 Ecommerce 2025<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.ecommerceitalia.info\/wp-content\/themes\/ec_theme\/assets\/img\/awards\/Award_TOP100_2025.png\" alt=\"Top 10 Ecommerce 2025\" style=\"width: 64px; vertical-align: middle; margin-right: 10px;\"><a href=\"#top100\"><strong>Top 100 Ecommerce 2025<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.ecommerceitalia.info\/wp-content\/themes\/ec_theme\/assets\/img\/awards\/Award_TOP10_2025_FastestGrowing.png\" alt=\"Top 10 Ecommerce 2025\" style=\"width: 64px; vertical-align: middle; margin-right: 10px;\"><a href=\"#top10fastestgrowing\"><strong>Top 10 Fastest Growing 2025<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.ecommerceitalia.info\/wp-content\/themes\/ec_theme\/assets\/img\/awards\/Award_TOP10_2025_turismo_en.png\" alt=\"Top 10 Ecommerce 2025\" style=\"width: 64px; vertical-align: middle; margin-right: 10px;\"><a href=\"#top10leader\"><strong>Top 10 Industry Leader 2025<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.ecommerceitalia.info\/wp-content\/themes\/ec_theme\/assets\/img\/awards\/Award_TOP10_2025_Innovazione_en.png\" alt=\"Top 10 Ecommerce 2025\" style=\"width: 64px; vertical-align: middle; margin-right: 10px;\"><a href=\"#top10innovation\"><strong>Top 10 Innovation from Ecommerce Italia Community<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The analysis of the Italian Ecommerce ecosystem and the results achieved will be described in the <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.ecommerceitalia.info\/en\/report-en\/ecommerce-italy-2025\/\">&#8220;Ecommerce Italy 2025&#8221;<\/a> report which will be presented on April 9th in Milan.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"metodologia\" class=\"title-h2\">Methodology<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Ecommerce ranking calculation<\/strong><br \/>\nThe ranking aims to estimate the popularity of ecommerce sites in Italy and the calculation is based on the algorithm that determines the monthly Ecommerce Ranking, which processes the following data:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 <em>Unique Visitors<\/em>: total unique visitors on a monthly basis in Italy (Casaleggio Associati estimate on Semrush data)<br \/>\n\u00b7 <em>Online popularity<\/em>: brand relevance according to CA data and estimates (data not visible)<br \/>\n\u00b7 <em>Average time<\/em>: Average length of time a person spends on the analyzed domain during each visit<br \/>\n\u00b7 <em>Bounce rate<\/em>: Percentage of visitors who leave the site analyzed after viewing only one page<br \/>\n\u00b7 <em>Relevance<\/em>: overall score calculated on the basis of previous data, through the algorithm that we constantly improve<\/p>\n<p>The classification has no statistical value but is indicative of the balance of power existing between the various players according to the parameters defined by Casaleggio Associati. At the moment, the data referring to the Apps are not considered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Choice of the winning companies<\/strong><br \/>\nTo determine the winners, the data relating to the &#8220;Ecommerce Ranking&#8221; of Casaleggio Associati were analyzed on an annual basis and the appropriate corrections were made, to avoid discrepancies and obtain a ranking that reflected the positioning that emerged throughout 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fastest Growing ranking<\/strong><br \/>\nThe ranking was created by aggregating three different factors: absolute growth in terms of climbed positions, relative growth based on the value of climbed positions and the percentage increase in unique visitors year on year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Top 10 Innovation ranking from the Ecommerce Italia Community<\/strong><br \/>\nThe ranking is based on the certified vote of members of the Ecommerce Italia community, created through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.camelot.vote\/blog\/-premio-della-community-ecommerce-italia-come-votare \" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Camelot.vote<\/a> platform. Each member has the opportunity to answer the question <em>&#8220;Which are the 3 ecommerce sites selling in Italy that have innovated the most over the last 12 months?&#8221;<\/em> indicating up to a maximum of 3 different websites.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/staging.ecommerceitalia.info\/register\/\" class=\"ctaButton alternate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Register to the Ecommerce Italia Community<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"title-h2\">FAQ<\/h2>\n<p><strong>How many companies were examined?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe analysis on the 2024 data referred to 14.517 companies that sell online in Italy in a broad sense &#8211; from products to services &#8211; divided into the main categories.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Come sono state scelte le aziende presenti?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe companies have been cataloged among the most relevant ones in Italy on the basis of visibility and availability.
